Julius Answer docs: API, MCP server and webhooks

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or your own software to your AI receptionist. Everything here is included on every plan, and requests don't use call minutes.

Julius Answer by DealsFlow is an AI receptionist for US small businesses. Its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI apps work with your calls, bookings and setup; its REST API and webhooks connect your own software; and its partner API lets agencies run receptionists for many businesses. All of it acts as a person in a workspace, with the access you choose.

What it covers

Not reachable from any key or app: billing, logins and team accounts, API keys and connected apps, and deleting the workspace. Those stay in the console.

How access works

  • Three access levels: read only (read), read and day-to-day work (write), and full access (admin). You pick one for every key and every app.
  • Never more than the person: a key or app acts as the person who made or approved it, with that person's role lowered to the access level. It stops working if they leave the workspace.
  • Your Yes for the big steps: when an AI app asks to send calls or call details somewhere new, take a phone number, disconnect something, add links callers will hear or change your CRM, nothing happens until you press Yes in the console.
  • Everything is listed: keys, apps, agencies and every change they made are in Settings, API & AI apps, and you can end any of them at once.

Details are on Keys and OAuth and Security.

Frequently asked questions

Does Julius Answer have an API?

Yes. Julius Answer by DealsFlow has a REST API at https://app.julius.dealsflow.ai/api/v1, a remote MCP server for AI apps at https://app.julius.dealsflow.ai/api/mcp, signed webhooks and an events feed. They cover calls, transcripts, contacts, bookings, messages and the receptionist's setup.

Do I need to be a developer to use this?

No. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT takes a minute and no code: paste one address into the app and sign in. The REST API and webhooks are for people who write code or use tools like Zapier and Make.

Does the API cost extra?

No. The API, the MCP server, webhooks and the partner API are included on every plan, and requests don't use call minutes.

Can an app see my billing or my password?

No. Billing, logins, team accounts and API keys are managed in the console only. Keys and connected apps can't reach them.

Is there an SDK?

The API is plain HTTPS and JSON with an OpenAPI 3.1 description at https://app.julius.dealsflow.ai/api/v1/openapi.json, so any HTTP client or OpenAPI generator works. The REST API page has copy-and-paste examples for curl, Python and JavaScript.
