Every operation: API and MCP reference

Each operation is both an MCP tool (by its name) and a REST request under https://app.julius.dealsflow.ai/api/v1. The machine-readable version is the OpenAPI description.

The Julius Answer API has one list of operations, used by the REST API and the MCP server alike. Reading needs read access, day-to-day work needs write, and changing the setup needs admin. Inputs go in the path, the query string (for GET and DELETE) or a JSON body.

Conventions

  • Ids (call_id, contact_id, booking_id, task_id, question_id) come from the lists: list_calls, list_contacts, get_todo and get_today.
  • Times like 09:00-17:00 are 24-hour, in the business's time zone. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD.
  • Phone numbers can be typed any common way: (312) 555-0100 or +13125550100.
  • Partner keys add X-Workspace-ID to every request here (or workspace to every MCP tool). The partner's own endpoints are on the partner API page.
  • OpenAPI 3.1: https://app.julius.dealsflow.ai/api/v1/openapi.json, with every input's schema.

The operations

ToolRequestWhat it does
get_accountGET /api/v1/accountThe workspace this key or app works in, the person it acts as, their role and the access granted.
get_overviewGET /api/v1/overviewEverything about the setup: business, receptionist (name, voice, greeting), what it knows, hours, holidays, away mode, alerts, booking rules, phone number, team, connections and what's left to set up.
get_todayGET /api/v1/todayToday at a glance: how many called, what needs the owner (messages, call-backs, booking requests) and any call happening now.

Inputs: before (optional), q (optional), show (optional)

Inputs: call_id
list_contactsGET /api/v1/contactsPeople who called (the built-in CRM), newest first, with where each one stands. Search with q.
Inputs: q (optional)
